Topic: Are you a student at the University of Calgary interested in the learning about Alberta’s largest natural gas power facility? ENMAX Shepard Energy Centre, a state-of-the-art power generation facility, is excited to invite you to an exclusive tour of their plant.
During this tour, you will have the opportunity to see firsthand how ENMAX generates electricity combined-cycle technology, via two natural gas-fueled turbines and one steam turbine provide more than 860 megawatts (MW) of electricity to the provincial grid – enough to meet almost half of Calgary’s current needs. You will also learn about the latest technologies and innovations in energy production and get a chance to ask any questions you may have to our team of experts.
