Details: This talk will cover the ongoing research on the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and other electronics applied on wireless communications technology in addition to multiple applications such as tracking and tracing activities in supply-chain and work-in-progress (WIP) manufacturing, real-time location-based services, inventory management, etc. The RFID innovative products and applications targeting an emerging market are uniquely positioned to provide organizations (e.g., emergency services, livestock, oil and gas, and manufacturing) with the resources needed to improve processes and track assets with accuracy, speed and reliability. The goal of this talk is to promote awareness, education and initiatives about the growing ultra-high frequency (UHF) RFID as well as the impact of this technology on business and consumer applications worldwide.
