The IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES) Entrepreneurship Committee, the IEEE Smart Village initiative, the IEEE Student Branch (SB), at the University of Calgary (U of C), along with the Sustainable Energy Systems Development (SEDV) MSc Program at the University of Calgary, will be holding a day long workshop titled: “Clean Energy Entrepreneurship”, on Sat., Sep. 24th, 2022, between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (MDT), same as 4:00 PM Central (CST), at the EEEL Bldg., Rm. 161 venue/classroom, on the University of Calgary Campus, Calgary, AB, Canada.

The main objective of this workshop is to inspire the next generation of Southern Albertans to consider clean energy entrepreneurship as a career choice. The other sub themes of this workshop are indigenous clean energy perspectives and access, the creation of sustainable and socially responsible enterprises and a low carbon future for Alberta.

Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided, during the event, along with a Certificate of Completion for the workshop.
